Brasília, 26 de agosto de 2021 – como parte das comemorações dos 30 anos da Independência e 30 anos do fechamento do local de testes nucleares de Semipalatinsk, às vésperas do Dia da Constituição, foi realizado briefing para representantes da mídia brasileira na Embaixada da República do Cazaquistão no Brasil.
No início do evento, foi exibido de um documentário dedicado aos 30 anos do fechamento do local de testes nucleares de Semipalatinsk, elaborado pela famosa emissora brasileira «TV Supren», com apoio da Embaixada. A emissora de TV transmitirá este filme no Brasil de 26 a 31 de agosto deste ano.

Em seu discurso, o Embaixador do Cazaquistão no Brasil Bolat Nussupov informou sobre as principais conquistas do Cazaquistão ao longo dos 30 anos da Independência, dando especial atenção ao papel histórico do Primeiro Presidente da República do Cazaquistão – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev na formação e fortalecimento do o estado do Cazaquistão.
Ao mesmo tempo, observou-se que, graças à iniciativa estratégica da Elbasy, em 29 de agosto de 1991, foi emitido um decreto «Sobre o fechamento do local de testes nucleares de Semipalatinsk». A República do Cazaquistão se tornou o primeiro país na história mundial a fechar um local de teste nuclear mortal em seu território e a renunciar voluntariamente às armas de destruição em massa. A ONU declarou o dia 29 de agosto como o Dia da Ação Internacional contra os Testes Nucleares, e a região da Ásia Central tornou-se um espaço livre de armas nucleares.
Briefing on the Occasion of the 30th Anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan
Brasilia, August 26, 2021 – as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence and the 30th anniversary of the closure of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, on the eve of the Constitution Day, a briefing for representatives of the Brazilian media was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Brazil.
At the beginning of the event, the premiere of a documentary film dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the closure of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, prepared by the Brazilian TV channel «TV Supren», with the support of the Embassy, took place. The TV channel will broadcast this film in Brazil from 26 to 31 August this year.

In his speech, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov informed about the main achievements of Kazakhstan over 30 years of Independence, paying special attention to the historical role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev in the formation and strengthening of the statehood of Kazakhstan.
At the same time, it was noted that thanks to the strategic initiative of Elbasy, on August 29, 1991, the Decree «On the closure of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site» was issued. The Republic of Kazakhstan became the first country in world history to close a deadly nuclear test site on its territory and voluntarily renounce weapons of mass destruction. The UN declared August 29 as the Day of International Action against Nuclear Tests, and the region of Central Asia became a space free of nuclear weapons.
