Hoje comemoramos o 47° Aniversário das gloriosas vitórias de 6 de outubro
de 1973. Essa data é considerada um dos maiores momentos da história egípcia
moderna, quando o exército egípcio se preparou para cruzar o Canal de Suez e
destruir a Linha Bar Lev, libertando a preciosa terra do Sinai. Por meio de um
planejamento adequado, trabalho em equipe organizado, alto espírito de luta e
sacrifício, fomos capazes de alcançar a paz baseada na justiça. Estendemos as
mais elevadas expressões de gratidão e apreço aos nobres mártires do Egito na
Guerra de Outubro, que sacrificaram suas vidas em prol da prosperidade de sua
pátria. Não nos esquecemos, nesta ocasião, de apresentar a devida saudação aos
exércitos árabes, cujo sangue puro se misturou com o sangue dos nossos heróicos
soldados num quadro que exprime o verdadeiro sentido da fraternidade e da
coesão.

Nos últimos anos, o Egito testemunhou duas revoluções. A primeira é a revolução de 25 de janeiro de 2011 e a segunda é a revolução de 30 de junho de 2013. O Egito trabalhou e ainda está trabalhando para implementar um processo de confronto abrangente para se opor às organizações extremistas e terroristas no Sinai do Norte e no resto do país, honrando e orgulhando todos os combatentes e mártires que sacrificaram seu sangue e almas em defesa do Egito. Nosso trabalho é inspirado no mais nobre senso de patriotismo e sacrifício da geração 6 de outubro.
As Forças Armadas alcançaram grande sucesso em todos os níveis por meio da implementação de muitos projetos de desenvolvimento estratégico, mais notavelmente o Novo Canal de Suez e o projeto da Nova Capital Administrativa, a construção de gigantescas usinas de energia elétrica e muitos projetos de infraestrutura, bem como a assistência às agências governamentais no combate à Covid 19.

Gostaria, nesta ocasião, de agradecer ao Ministério da Defesa do Brasil por sua cooperação com as Forças Armadas egípcias, que por sua vez deseja continuar a desenvolver essa cooperação construtiva. Por fim, gostaria, ao final do meu discurso, de estender a todos os meus sinceros agradecimentos por nos honrarem hoje.

Today we celebrate the forty-seventh anniversary of the glorious victories of the 6th of October 1973. This date is considered one of the greatest moments in modern Egyptian history, as the Egyptian army set out to cross the Suez Canal and destroy the Bar Lev Line, liberating the precious land of Sinai. Through proper planning, organized team work, high fighting spirit and sacrifice, we were able to achieve peace based on justice. We extend the highest expressions of gratitude and appreciation to the righteous martyrs of Egypt in the October War, who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the prosperity of their homeland. We do not forget, on this occasion, to present the proper salutation to the Arab armies, whose pure blood was mixed with the blood of our heroic soldiers in a picture that expresses true meaning of brotherhood and cohesion.
Ladies and Gentlemen
In recent years, Egypt has witnessed two revolutions. The first is the revolution of the twenty-fifth of January 2011, and the second is the revolution of the 30th of June 2013. Egypt has worked and is still working to implement a comprehensive confrontation process to oppose extremism and terrorist organizations in North Sinai and in the rest of the country, honoring and making pride all fighters and martyrs who spend their blood and souls in defense of Egypt. Our work is inspired by the noblest sense of patriotism and sacrifice of the 6th of October generation.
The Armed Forces have achieved great success at all levels through the implementation of many strategic development projects, most notably the New Suez Canal and New Administrative Capital project, the construction of giant electric power stations and many infrastructure projects, as well as the assistance to governmental agencies in combating Covid 19.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I would like on this occasion to thank the Brazilian Ministry of Defense for its cooperation with the Egyptian armed forces, which in turn is keen to further develop this constructive cooperation, Finally, I would like, at the end of my speech, to extend to all of you my sincere thanks for honoring us today.

نحتفل اليوم بالذكرى السابعة والأربعون لانتصارات السادس من أكتوبر المجيدة لعام1973 والذى يعد من أعظم اللحظات الفارقة فى التاريخ المصرى الحديث حيث انطلق الجيش المصرى ليعبر قناة السويس ويدمر خط بارليف المنيع ويحرر أرض سيناء الغالية حيث اجتمعت عناصر التخطيط السليم والعمل الجماعى المنظم والروح القتالية العالية والتضحية، ليتحقق السلام القائم على العدل كما نتقدم بأسمى آيات الشكر والتقدير لشهداء مصر الأبرار فى حرب أكتوبر الذين ضحوا بأرواحهم من أجل رفعة الوطن ولا ننسى فى هذه المناسبة أن نتقدم بتحية واجبة لمقاتلى الجيوش العربية والذين امتزجت دماؤهم الزكية بدماء جنودنا الأبطال على أرض سيناء الحبيبة فى مشهد عبّر وبحق عن أرقى معانى الأخوة والتلاحم.

لقد شهدت مصر فى السنوات الأخيرة ثورتين الأولى هى ثورة الخامس والعشرين من يناير2011، والثانية هى ثورة الثلاثين من يونيو 2013 ولقد انحازت القوات المسلحة فى الثورتين إلى جانب الشعب المصرى، وقامت بالتصدى لأية محاولات لزعزعة استقرار البلاد، ومارست دورها الأصيل فى الحفاظ على الأمن القومى المصرى، كما عملت ولا تزال تعمل على تنفيذ عملية المجابهة الشاملة للتصدى للتطرف والتنظيمات الارهابية فى شمال سيناء وفى سائر أنحاء البلاد، فتحية إعزاز وتشريف لكل المقاتلين والشهداء الذين يبذلون دمائهم وأرواحهم دفاعاً عن مصر وعزتها مستلهمين من جيل أكتوبر أنبل معانى الوطنية والفداء.
وقد حققت القوات المسلحة نجاحاً كبيراًعلى كافة الأصعده من خلال تنفيذ مشروعات متعددة للتنمية الأستراتيجية من أبرزها مشروع قناة السويس الجديدة والعاصمة الإدارية الجديدة وإنشاء محطات طاقة كهربائية عملاقة والعديد من مشروعات البنية الأساسية فضلا عن معاونة الجهات الحكومية فى مكافحة كوفيد 19 .

اسمحوا لى فى نهاية كلمتى أن أتقدم بخالص الشكر إلى وزارة الدفاع البرازيلية علي ما تبذله من جهد لتنمية وتطويرعلاقات التعاون مع القوات المسلحة المصرية والتي تحرص بدورها علي تنمية ذلك التعاون .
عاشت مصر حرة أبية وعاشت علاقات الصداقة المصرية البرازيلية.
