NATIONAL LIBRARY EXHIBITION PRESENTS THE POETRY, THE MUSIC AND THE ART OF INDIAN DIPLOMAT ABHAY K. FROM 5 TO 20 DECEMBER
Indian artist Abhay K., known in the Brazilian literary scene for his poetry and musical compositions, reveals yet another of his abilities to the Brazilian capital: a few days before completing his diplomatic mission here, he still finds the energy to launch the exhibition One Planet (Um Planeta), which brings together 27 paintings made over the last 10 years he lived in St. Petersburg, New Delhi and – finally – Brasilia.
While he was in the city, Abhay K. promoted literary meetings at the Embassy of India, wrote about the capital in a book of poetry and presented to the Brazilian public the “Earth Anthem” – composition signed by him – interpreted by the National Theater Symphony Orchestra.
When visiting the exhibition at the National Library of Brasilia, it will be possible to listen to the Earth Anthem as background music while traveling through the stories observed on the screens of Abhay K.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at 5:00 p.m., when Abhay K. wishes to meet with his friends to talk about poetry, art, and just be together for a pleasant moment. The Indian artist invites all art lovers to take part in this meeting, in which he already begins to bid farewell to the city. Abhay K.’s mission as a diplomat for the Indian Embassy ends this year.
